少女扮演少年。
玉阪座——一個所有成員皆由男性組成的劇團。
女性角色也由男性飾演的玉阪座，其名下尚有一所
用來培養演員並舉行公演的歌劇學校，尤尼維爾(UNIVEIL)歌劇學校。
無論是玉阪座還是歌劇學校，其所舉辦的公演，
那震憾人心又燦爛輝煌的世界，都看得觀衆眼花瞭亂、目不轉睛。
在尤尼維爾歌劇學校中，那些擠進選拔窄門、極具天分的學生，
分成四個班級學習歌劇，
並為了贏得校內最優秀班級的稱號，班級之間相互競爭。
故事的主人翁「立花希佐」原已放棄舞台之路，但在某個機緣之下，
特別獲准進入尤尼維爾歌劇學校就讀，但她必須遵守兩項條件。
那就是在一年級學期末的最終公演裡成為主角，
以及，不能讓任何人發現自己的女性身份……
為了實現自己的夢想，也為了所屬班級的榮耀，
她成為其中的一顆「齒輪」，逐漸加深與夥伴們的情誼。
和夥伴們一同生活的主人翁，等待著她究竟是什麼樣的未來……？
